Paint On Swimsuits

Quick: what is the hottest trend in extreme swimsuits nowadays? Is it the mesh micro bikini? or the micro bikini see thru? Is it the mesh micro mini swimsuit? As undeniably hot as those two trends are–and they certainly are hot!–they will have to take a back seat to the most outrageous, and frankly, almost unbelievable trend in extreme beach fashion: paint on swimsuits!

Yes, you heard it right. Instead of bothering with pesky bits of cloth that tend to stick to the skin and cause chafing in some pretty sensitive areas, a few brave souls have taken it upon themselves to catch some rays with nothing more than a few dabs of paint on their bodies. It is a trend that is almost too outrageous to believe for some, but you had better believe that it is here and it is now!

Paint On Swimsuits – Disadvantages

Paint On Swimsuits
Of course there are a few disadvantages to wearing paint on swimsuits, not the least of which is its unsuitability for swimming. While you can get into all sorts of interesting situations while wearing a painted on bathing suit, one thing you cannot get into is water! Aside from that however, there are numerous other things that you can do in a painted on bikini, such as ham it up for photo shoots, hit the beaches of a more liberal resort, or simply take a few photographs for your own personal enjoyment.

One thing that you will have to realize is that painted on swimsuits actually go back quite a ways, and they have their roots in body art more than in fashion. Keep in mind that most practitioners of body art–and this goes for artists as well as swimsuit models–view the activity as a legitimate art form in its own right. A lot of hard work and effort goes into putting together an impressive paint on swimsuit design, and anyone who is involved in the craft will definitely need to have a lot of patience and dedication.

Paint On Swimsuits – Indistinguishable From Real Swimsuits

If you haven’t actually seen paint on swimsuits firsthand before, you will likely be pleasantly surprised upon first glance. In some cases, the paint on swimsuits are so exquisitely rendered and includes so much meticulous detail that they are practically indistinguishable from real swimsuits. It has to be seen to be believed, and you’re likely to walk away from your first paint on swimsuit sighting a fan for life. One thing is for sure, few people who have seen paint on swimsuits up close and have recognized them for what they are ever forget about them!

Even if you feel that you don’t quite have the confidence to wear paint on swimsuits in public just yet, that will not take away from your appreciation of them. Who knows, with a bit of hard work–okay lots of it!–and sweat in the gym, you just may find yourself becoming tempted to give paint on swimsuits a try sooner or later!

Paint On Swimsuits

Paint on swimsuits are definitely not what you would consider ideal swimwear. Immerse yourself in water and watch the paint come off, unless the artist uses liquid latex. It’s not a very pretty sight, isn’t it? However, paint on swimsuits are a work of art. To create a body painted swimsuit is quite difficult to execute because the artist has to make the paint design look like fabric. He has to replicate folds of the fabrics and make them look realistic. The illusion that the swimsuit models are really wearing real swimsuits is one big artistic achievement. The swimsuit models are the canvass of the artist. The human body is an interesting canvass that not all artists can easily conquer. Therefore, paint on swimsuits is a work of art that’s worthy of praise. It’s not just a tactic to make swimsuit models look sexier.

The Allure of Paint On Swimsuits

Paint On Swimsuits
Creating paint on swimsuits is very rewarding but the process is not easy. Some artists paint their design on the spot while others come up with different sketches before they proceed with the painting process. They study the shape of the swimsuit model and determine what colors would look beautiful on her skin tone and what designs would flatter her shape. The artist can let his or her imagination run wild but he or she must also consider the outcome on the canvass. Paint on swimsuits is a very interesting art form this way because it adorns the human body.

The Laborious Path To The Creation Of Paint On Swimsuits

To further illustrate the amazing abilities of artists that do paint on swimsuits, you should take a look at some movies that require their heroines to wear bodysuits. Do you ever notice how snug the fit of the bodysuit is on the heroine? The truth is that more often than not, those bodysuits are actually just paint. The artist cleverly paints ripples and wrinkles to make it look like real fabric. The process usually takes around 2-3 hours to complete.

It’s also important for the model to be comfortable in her own skin. This is crucial to the success of the artist because even the intimate parts of the body have to be painted on to achieve a flawless and realistic effect. Of course, the artist has to be sensitive enough not to take advantage of the models trust and to use the paint that won’t irritate the skin. Both must be patient enough for the process. The artist’s patience is needed for the errors that might come his or her way. The model, on the other hand, has to be patient enough to be still. Creativity, patience and attention to detail are critical to the success of paint on swimsuits.
